2008 -  Martines still chugs along. A nice addition to Bloomingdales. They are consistent. The lineup rarely changes and
neither does the quality. A fun experience, taking a few minutes off from shopping, watching chocolate being made and
molded. The chocolate is extremely fresh and there is something about having the smell of chocolate wafting through
the air that enhances the experience.
2006 - Martines makes a nice line of chocolate.  Both locations seem to carry the same line and it is all freshly made.  In
fact on our forays to Bloomingdales we've enjoyed spending a few minutes watching chocolate being poured into the
molds and being made ready for sale.
Most everything seems to be made in two versions Dark and Milk Chocolate.  The Shell (Chocolate Mousse) , The
Butterfly (Hazelnut Praline with a piece of Pecan on top) , The Oyster (a creamy Chocolate filling) , The Three Hills (a
Chocolate Filling) and the Mini Benji (Caramel , Chocolate and Pecan).  Although we usually prefer Dark Chocolate
Martines Milk Chocolate is sweet and creamy and we find we prefer our Martines in Milk Chocolate.
