06/26/2008 - The third jewel in the Jacque Torres crown. While not steeped in the history and good vibes of the DUMBO
location nor of the scale of the SOHO location still this is a good store that represents Mr. Torres line well. You can stay
and have a cup of cocoa with your chocolate or if the weather is nice we recommend crossing the street to the
renovated Verdi Park and doing a little people watching while munching away. If you haven't sampled the Torres line
than you must pay a visit to any one of his three shops. His truffles are out of this world, strong and heady and our all
time favorite item of his is his mudslide cookie - chocolate, upon chocolate mixed with chocolate. Seriously the most
chocolatey cookie we've ever had the pleasure of eating.
