Oct. 14 2006 - The Union Square Partnership is sponsoring 3 walking tours through the chocolate shops of the
Union Square area. It's $35 to sign up and includes tastings from Chocolat Michel Cluizel , Chocolat Moderne , The City
Bakery , Havana Central , Tarallucci E Vino , Tisserie and Union Square Wines and Spirits.
Oct. 16 - 22 2006 - Chocolate Week, previously known as the Chocolate Festival, and The World Chocolate Awards
take place in London, England. With a host of participants and a ton of events, some free this looks like it's shaping up
to be a fun week for chocoholics.
Nov. 10 2006 - John Scharffenberger, co-founder of Berkeley, California's chocolate-maker Scharffenberger Chocolate
will be conducting a class in conjunction with Murray's Cheese on Bleecker Street. titled "Chocolate The Master
Class". The cost is $50 and includes sampling everything from cocoa beans to nibs to different Scharffenberger
chocolates.
Nov. 10 - 12 2006 - The Chocolate Show returns to New York City. The show will return to the Metropolitan Pavillion &
Altman Building at 125 West 18th Street (between 6th & 7th Avenues). The opening night preview, featuring a Fashion
Show will be Thursday, November 9th 7-10pm and the Trade & Media Preview will be Thursday, November 9th 7-10pm
and the show itself will be open to the general public Friday, November 10: 10am to 9pm Saturday, November 11: 10am
to 8pm and Sunday, November 12: 10am to 7pm. Check out their website for updates www.chocolateshow.com.
