2006 - An odd venue for some of the best truffles out there. This French restaurant will serve a chocolate tasting plate
after your meal or you can buy them by the dozen. The tea flavored pieces are amazing. Joel Durand produces these
gems in Provence and ships them in by air on a regular basis. The selection changes with the seasons so repeat visits
are needed to fully sample Mr. Durand's wares. The restaurant "Paradou" has a nice menu and is an excellent choice
for a meal in the meat packing district. For what it's worth, we know a certain young lady who's palate we trust, who
swears this is the best chocolate in the world. An update we have been advised that Paradou is now only carrying the
chocolates during the winter and will not be carrying them this summer.
