06/26/2008 - A nice chain of "gourmet" grocery shops. With the proliferation of better suppliers of foodstuffs in new York
Gourmet Garage is not as unique as they were 10 years ago. Still they have fair prices, excellent service, a nice selection
of fresh produce and from our perspective a decent chocolate lineup. Some of the chocolate we found on a recent visit
included bars from Chocolove, Lake Champlain and Lindt. Their house brand is better than average and the housebrand,
Dark Chocolate with Three Nuts is excellent.
