Chocmod - This firm was established in 1948. They make truffles, chocolate covered walnuts an marshmallow among
other things. There prepackaged ( truffettes de France ) truffles are available throughout Europe and can be ordered

Michel Cluizel - La Boutique Michel Cluizel at 201 rue Saint Honoré in the heart of Paris serves as a showcase for this
chocolatiers work. Starting in Normandy in 1948 the Cluizel family produces some fine chocolate bars as well as many
other chocolate products. They've recently opened a shop in New York City and you can find their bars in many shops
in the USA as well as order their products over the Internet.

Patchi - A branch of the famed Lebanese chocolate makers. They are located at 72, Avenue Victor Hugo, 75116- Paris

Pralus - Starting as a pastry shop in 1948 Pralus entered the gourmet chocolate field in 1991. They produce some
amazing chocolate bars among other items.

Revillon - Makers of a bunch of chocolate products including Finesses De Chocolat which are chocolate twigs, the milk
chocolate twigs are either nougatine or pear flavour and the dark chocolate are either mont. tangerine or raspberry, Mot
en chocolat which are milk chocolate bon bons and they also make Les Guinettes which are dark chocolate and cherry
alcohol macerated cherries highlighted by hints of armagnac.

Richart - Makers of some of the prettiest, sleek chocolate out there. It also tastes great. Try there New York shop or

Valrhona - This venerable French firm produces chocolates in many forms. There cooking chocolate is used by many
chefs and chocolatiers and if you are in a small chocolate shop somewhere in France it's a good bet it's Valrhona being
used for dipping and truffle making. They also make a variety of bars including Guanaja (70% Dark Chocolate), Jivara
Lait (Caramel/Milk Chocolate), Caraibe (66% cocoa Dark Chocolate) , Manjari (64% cocoa beans from Madagascar)
and a host of others. This is highly recommended chocolate and the bars can be found around New York.
